Author Wendy Xu: Zine Workshop

Meet the author of Infinity Particle, Silicon Valley Reads young adult selection. Wendy will go over basic comic book vocabulary and will then teach students to cut and fold a mini booklet (a zine), which can be done from a piece of computer paper. There are 8 pages in the mini book (including front and back cover) to draw a little story from beginning to end. After students fold and draw their story, they can unfold it, make copies, fold those copies, and distribute them among friends. It's like a small taste of being a published author.
